Disappointed in Pandora. I love Last.FM. Vårttinå!

Whereas I can't get Last.FM to act as anything more than a recommendation agent. That is, I can't get it to play full-length songs. But Pandora works well for me.
Too true. The difference for me is that Pandora plays the entire song, whereas Last.FM will only play a 15-second snippet, usually. I suspect Last.FM would be really nice if I synced it with my iTunes, and then remembered to sync my iPod with my iTunes.
Does Last.fm sync with iTunes, or do you have to have it open while you play things to be able to scrobble? I like Last.fm, but mostly it is a cute app in a drawer that I never open. But I'm pretty devoted to finding my own tunes.

Isn't a recommendation agent what Pandora is too? My problem is they haven't heard of most of the groups I listen to.
